Frequently Asked Questions
Can adults paint with students?
Yes! Creating together is half the fun. A seat must be purchased for every child and every adult attending—even if an adult chooses not to paint—so we can plan space, supplies, and instruction.
I have children in each age group. Which one should I choose?
Each painting is designed with specific skills in mind, so it is recommended to register your child in the age group that best matches their grade level.
K–2 Painting - Energetic Eagle
Smaller painting that is designed for developing fine motor skills. Great for K–2 artists, still fun for 3rd graders, and a bit too quick-and-easy for 4th–5th graders.
3–5 Painting - Proud Eagle
More detailed with opportunities for shading, texture, and creativity. A fun challenge for 3rd–5th graders, tricky for 2nd graders, and often frustrating for K–1 students.
Artists have the most success in the recommended age group. If you can’t attend both sessions, your child may paint with another responsible adult. Please use this guidance when registering, while making the final choice that works best for your family.
What should we wear?
We’ll be using acrylic paint—and yes, it stains. Wear clothes you’re okay getting a little creative in.
What time should we arrive? How long can we stay?
Arrive at the school up to 15 minutes early to check in, find your seat, and get settled. Painting starts promptly at 6:00 PM. Doors close at 8:00 PM.
Can I get a refund if I can’t make it?
All sales are final. Supplies are purchased in advance and your registration reserves a spot that cannot be filled by another participant.
Do you offer additional classes or lessons?
Yes! A variety of art experiences for kids and families are offered throughout the year.
